Nothing excites us more than seeing startups and businesses get the funding they need! That’s why we decided to launch our very own Bi-Annual Funding Conference. This year will be our first year and first event we are anticipating great reviews.

The event will consists of 20 startup companies looking for funding and 30 different investors from across Michigan and the country ready to hear your ideas and more importantly ready to fund! Literally tens of millions of dolllars in funding. 

Startups:

Space is limited to 20 Startups only so make sure you RSVP literally right now. We are pre-selling space and expect it to fill up really fast. Where else are you going to have the opportunity to pitch directly to Investors and network with them one on one, the benefits far outweigh the small costs.

 

·         You will be given a 4’x8’ table to create your own booth and showcase your business

·         You will then be given 5 minutes to pitch your idea in front of the investors present

·         Investors will not only be considering funding your business they will also be judging it for a first and second place winner for “Best Business Concept” in which award plagues will be given and cash $2,500 to first place and $1,000 to second to help your business on its way.

·         You will have 2 hours after Lunch to network with investors directly one on one

·         The chances of you receiving funding have never been better.

D. Scott Ventures LLC has decided to take a huge portion of the costs as getting companies funded is most important, because of that we have cut booth costs from $1,500 to just $500, booths are expected to sell out quick RSVP now.

You are cordially invited to attend this year’s Bi-Annual Seminar and have a chance to network with some of the brightest and most innovative startups and businesses in their industry. Space is limited for investors so make sure you RSVP right now! We are only accepting 30 investors; proof of funds is required as we are looking for serious investors who will consider investing in the startups at the event.

As an investor there is no cost to you for the event you are our guests, you will be treated to a VIP sitting area where you can watch and judge presentations first hand. You will be given a VIP lunch and an opportunity to not only network with the startups present but also the other investors in attendance.

Order of Events

·         8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Startups arrive and set up booths, prepare to present

·         9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Investors arrive and are seated in VIP area, refreshments served, chance to network with other investors

·         10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Startups are given 5 minutes to present their business to investors on stage.

·         12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch Break (Lunch provided to startups and Special VIP lunch to investors)

·         1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guest Speaker (TBA)

·         2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Investors and Startups have a chance to network one on one with each other. Judges evaluate comments for “Best Business Concept”

·         4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Awards presented to 1st and 2nd place “Best Business Concept”

·         5:00 p.m. Conference ends.
